How much is the right amount?

Hi Moms,

So I have recently been invited to a one-year old's birthday party and the invite says "No Boxed gifts". Now from my understanding, its just cash/gift cards only but I am unsure as to how much is the right amount. The mom of the bub is just the casual acquaintance.
