Come along to meet Neil Coslett, a debut author and illustrator who's kicking off his career with the book Kid Potato: Welcome to my World. It's happening in Liverpool on 2026-07-03, and if you've ever wondered what a potato's inner monologue sounds like, this might just be your spud of the moment.

In the workshop, you'll cobble together your own Kid Potato using actual spuds and a bunch of craft bits. Neil will sign copies of his book and show off how he sketches those oddball characters of his, probably without turning anyone into mash.
