Astronaut Claire Henry will be joined by musicians from the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra as they attempt to power a pretend rocket using music and a willing audience. The programme features short, playful pieces about stars and planets and plenty of chances for little ones to get involved by clapping, making spaceship noises or pretending to flick very dubious controls.

Babies under six months do not need a paid ticket, but a free ticket must be booked in advance alongside an adult ticket. Bring a spare nappy and a blanket, and be ready for a relaxed timetable rather than an exact countdown.
